Cobra's NightWatch line employs similar cutting-edge technology to that now being used by the military in the cockpits of its aircraft and fighting vehicles. For the ultimate in driver-friendly technology in all lighting conditions, the CBs are illuminated by solid-state electro-luminescent backlighting powered by a dedicated integrated circuit and incorporate a variable dimmer control which adjusts the brightness of the entire front panel, including the channel display, signal strength meter and status LEDs.The line of NightWatch CB radios incorporates Cobra's exclusive, patent-pending SoundTracker technology, which reduces static and airwave noise by up to 90 percent.
